Sveta Nedashkovskaia is a co-founder of the republic of letters type foundry. a typeface designer, lecturer, calligrapher and cultural critic. she designed typefaces for a lot of languages, including cyrillic and latin scripts. studied with tagir ibrahimovich safaev. she learnt calligraphy with Toropitsyna and Evgeny Maksovich Dobrovinsky

Sveta has organised several training programmes in the saint petersburg university and design school of the higher school of economic on type design for non-type designers.
